Sweet Potato Recipes I sold my family’s organic sweet potatoes at the San Francisco Ferry Plaza Farmers’ Market from about 1996 to 2000. To encourage repeat business I compiled and developed many sweet potato recipes to hand out to customers. Ultimately I came up with three small volumes that featured recipes like Ancho Sweet Potato Purée, Spicy Sweet Potato Wontons, Sweet Potato Latkes and my personal favorite Curried Ginger and Sweet Potato Soup.
